Since Charles IX, very precise rules have been established for the use of water and
Rights for traffic, flow rate, level, maintenance, that can vary depending from the river´s clasification.
Rules may change also depending from the builind date of the water mill.
Riverside resident must know the rights ; a river is an element very interactive with
environement, neighbourgwood, villages, associations, etc...

Water rights are applicable in all this area and must be respected.

On this picture taken during 1917 snowing winter, you can see first a canal. Its possible to see water level. Arrats river high flow rate at this season makes that water has to pass over before going throuth the bridge.  When flow rate was coming back to normal, water was mostly passing through  the water dumo 200 yard  upstream and also inside water mill acording needs.  This canal was dig deeper by mistake arround 1976 but  unforfeitable rights of this water mill make that it will have to be established again in its original configuration

This group of people is made of water mill workers and certainly some neighbourgs.
